## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) IN CRUISE FLIGHT AT 9000 FT, THE EMERGENCY ESCAPE WINDOW, WHICH IS THE PILOT'S LEFT SIDE WINDOW, SEPARATED FROM THE AIRCRAFT. THE PILOT RECEIVED RADAR VECTORS TO THE JOHNSON COUNTY EXECUTIVE AIRPORT, (OJC), AND LANDED THE AIRCRAFT WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. A REPAIR STATION AT OJC SUBMITTED FAA FORM 8010-4, MALFUNCTION OR DEFECT REPORT (SEE ATTACHED). INCIDENT ^PRIVACY DATA O^ IS CLOSED WITH THIS REPORT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
