## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE PILOT STATED THAT ON APPROACH TO LANDING HE DECIDED TO INITIATE A GO-AROUND, AND AS HE APPLIED FULL THROTTLE HE TURNED OFF THE PILOT HEAT AND RETRACTED THE FLAPS, BUT THE AIRCRAFT DID NOT CLIMB. HE SAID THE TEMPERATURE WAS 75 DEGREES F. THE AIRCRAFT STALLED AND IMPACTED THE RUNWAY IN A NOSE-DOWN ATTITUDE. THE PILOT SUFFERED MINOR INJURY AND WAS OBSERVED OVERNIGHT IN HOSPITAL. THE AIRCRAFT RECEIVED ONLY MINOR DAMAGE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
