## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON TAXI OUT CREW HEARD AND FELT A THUMP. CREW THOUGHT INITIALLY THAT THEY HAD WENT OVER A POT HOLE OR A DRAIN ON THE TAXI WAY. CREW NOTICED DURING THE CONTROL CHECK THAT AILERONS WERE NOT MOVING FREELY AND ELECTED TO RETURN TO THE GATE. WHILE RETURNING TO THE GATE THE CREW NOTICED TWO PARKED FUEL TRUCKS ON THE TACMAC NEAR THE GRASS. UPON RETURNING TO THE GATE THE PILOT VISUALLY INSPECTED THE WING TIPS AND DETERMINED THAT ONE HAD HIT ONE OF THE TRUCKS. CREW DETERMINED THAT THE DRIVER WAS IN THE TERMINAL AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT AND IN ADDITION, THE TRUCK WAS PARKED WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING AND ITS HEADLIGHTS OFF. CREW CLAIMED NOT TO HAVE SEEN THE TRUCK WHEN TAXIING. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE WING TIP AND RETURNED THE AIRCRAFT TO SERVICE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
