## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON JUNE 17, 2002, AT APPROXIMATELY 1415L THE PILOT OF N3008K, A PA-28-236, ATTEMPTED TO REPOSITION THE AIRCRAFT. THE PILOT LOST CONTROL OF THE AIRCRAFT AS IT STRUCK THE FUEL FARM AND 2 FUEL TRUCKS AT ATLANTIC AVIATION ON THE "HOTEL" PARKING RAMP. THE PILOT FAILED TO UNTIE THE AIRCRAFT AS WELL AS REMOVE THE COVER. AS A RESULT, SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE WAS DONE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND THE FUEL TRUCKS INVOLVED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
