## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE PILOT REPORTED THAT HE HAD BOUNCED ON LANDING AND HELD BACK PRESSURE TO EASE THE TOUCH DOWN. THE AIRCRAFT STALLED ABOUT A FOOT ABOVE THE RUNWAY AND THUMPED DOWN ON THE NOSE GEAR HARD ENOUGH TO POP THE NOSE TIRE AND BEND THE NOSE LANDING GEAR SLIGHTLY UP AND AFT. THE BENT SPRING TUBE TYPE GEAR AND THE BLOWN NOSE TIRE ALLOWED THE PROP TO SCRAPE THE TIPS ON THE RUNWAY. NO DAMAGE WAS NOTED TO THE CRANKSHAFT AND THE PROP WAS REPAIRABLE. NO INJURY OR PILOT DEVIATION IS ASSOCIATED WITH THIS INCIDENT. NO GROUND FACILITIES OR WEATHER CONDITIONS CONTRIBUTED TO THIS INCIDENT. THE INCIDENT WAS REPORTED BY TTD TOWER APPROXIMATELY 3 DAYS LATER. NO FAA IIC WAS DISPATCHED TO THE SITE AS THE AIRCRAFT HAD BEEN MOVED TO THE OWNER'S HANGAR AND REPAIRS EFFECTED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
