## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON 06/25/2002, AT 12:30PM, A MITSUBISHI MU-2B, N40JJ, OWNED AND OPERATED BY RANDY D. BULLARD, ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ MADE A GEAR-UP LANDING ON A PART 91 BUSINESS FLIGHT. VFR WEATHER CONDITIONS PREVAILED AND NO FLIGHT PLAN WAS FILED. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE AND THE PILOT RECEIVED NO INJURIES. THE PILOT HOLDS A PRIVATE PILOT CERTIFICATE WITH MULTI-ENGINE AND INSTRUMENT RATINGS. THE FLIGHT ORIGINATED FROM DENTON TEXAS PRIOR TO THE GEAR-UP LANDING. DURING RECOVERY OF THE AIRCRAFT, A MITSUBISHI HEAVY INDUSTRIES REPRESENTATIVE REPORTED THE LANDING GEAR EXTENDED IN AN ELECTRIC AND NORMAL MANNER.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
