## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE PILOT STATED THAT AFTER TAKE OFF FROM HUDSON, NY (1B1) I COULDN'T GET AN INDICATION THAT THE LANDING GEAR HAD FULLY RETRACTED. CONTINUING THE FLIGHT TO NORTH PHILADELPHIA AIRPORT (PNE) I WENT THROUGH THE EMERGENCY LANDING GEAR EXTENSION PROCEDURES IN THE PILOTS OPERATING HANDBOOK (POH) SEVERAL TIMES WITHOUT SUCCESS. WITH THE AID OF A MIRROR ON THE LEFT WING STRUT I SAW THE NOSE GEAR PARTIALLY DOWN. NEITHER ME NOR MY PASSENGER COULD SEE THE MAIN LANDING GEAR IN THE DOWN POSITION. UPON TOUCHDOWN THE LANDING GEAR FULLY COLLAPSED AND THE AIRCRAFT VEERED OFF RUNWAY 24 AT THE NORTH PHILADELPHIA AIRPORT (PNE) AND CAME TO REST IN THE GRASS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
