## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) UPON APPROACHING THE LANDING SITE PILOT REQUESTED THE LANDING CHECKLIST. THE CO-PILOT NOTIFIED THE PILOT THAT THERE WAS NO INDICATION OF GEAR "IN-TRANSIT" OR GEAR DOWN LIGHTS. THE GEAR LEVEL WAS RECYCLED BUT STILL NO INDICATION. PILOT REQUESTED THE "EMERGENCY LANDING GEAR EXTENSION" AND AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS THEY STILL DO NOT HAVE ANY GEAR DOWN OR TRANSIT LIGHTS. UPON ARRIVING AT DULLES AIRPORT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN ATTEMPTED TO MANUALLY RELEASE THE GEAR WITHOUT ANY SUCCESS. PILOT PROCEEDED TO LAND THE HELICOPTER WITH THE GEAR UP. HELICOPTER WAS SECURED ON THE GROUND.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
