## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) TEN MINUTES INTO FLIGHT AFTER LEAVING PUEBLO, CO. THE R/H LOW FUEL PRESS LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE R/H FUEL QUANTITY INDICATOR INDICATED 200# LESS FUEL THAN THE LEFT. ENGINE INDICATIONS WERE NORMAL. PILOT IN COMMAND ELECTED TO SHUT DOWN THE R/H ENGINE AND LAND AT WICHITA, KS. AT RAYTHEON AIRCRAFT SERVICES. FURTHER INSPECTION FOUND A MOTIVE FLOW CHECK VALVE PN101-389011-105 HAD BROKEN IN TWO. IT WAS MADE OUT OF PLASTIC. THE ILLUSTRATED PARTS CATALOG DOES NOT SHOW THIS PART NUMBER. THE CORRECT PART NUMBER SHOULD BE 101-389011-113 OR PERMISSIBLE TO INSTALL 101-389011-107 OR 101-389011-111. MAINTENANCE RECORDS DID NOT INDICATE ANY WORK HAD BEEN DONE TO THE CHECK VALVE. IT APPEARS THE WRONG PART NUMBER VALVE WAS INSTALLED. MANUFACTURING INSPECTION DISTRICT OFFICE (MIDO) AND AIRCRAFT CERTIFICATION OFFICE (ACO) ARE ADDRESSING THIS ISSUE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
