(-23) THE PILOT EXTENDED THE LANDING GEAR ON DOWNWIND. THE PILOT NOTICED THE NOSE GEAR LIGHT NOT LIT. HE ADVISED THE TUCSON TOWER OF THE PROBLEM. THE PILOT ATTEMPTED TO RECYCLE THE GEAR AND HAD THE SAME NOSE GEAR RESULTS. THE PILOT ATTEMPTED TO MANUALLY PUMP THE GEAR DOWN BY HAND WITH THE SAME RESULTS. THE PILOT PERFORMED A FLY BY OF THE TOWER WHO STATED THAT THE NOSE GEAR APPEARED TO BE DOWN. DURING LANDING THE PILOT KEPT THE NOSE GEAR OFF THE RUNWAY UNTIL THE AIRCRAFT SPEED WAS MINIMUM. AT THE MOMENT OF RUNWAY CONTACT, THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED. MINIMUM DAMAGE WAS DONE TO THE AIRCRAFT DUE TO THE SLOW SPEED. BOTH PROPS WERE DAMAGED. NOSE SKIN DAMAGE AND NOSE LANDING GEAR WAS DAMAGED. NO INJURIES TO THE THREE OCCUPANTS. NO INJURIES TO ANY GROUND PERSONNEL. END.
