## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) OSHKOSH AIRVENTURE VFR ARRIVAL. AIRCRAFT WAS ASSIGNED TO 18 LEFT, THEN CLEARED TO SIDESTEP TO 18R AND LAND ON THE NUMBERS OF THE DISPLACED THRESHOLD ON 18R. AIRCRAFT TOUCHED DOWN, BOUNCED, THE RIGHT WING STRUCK THE RUNWAY, THEN THE LEFT WING STRUCK THE RUNWAY, THEN TOUCHED DOWN, STOPPED AND NOSED OVER ONTO PROP & SPINNER. BOTH PILOTS INDICATED THEY WERE ON THE CONTROLS AND FELT THEY WERE IN THE VORTICES OF A SMALL BI-PLANE THAT LANDED IN FRONT OF THEM. NEITHER PILOT COULD PROVIDE DOCUMENTATION OF CURRENCY OR BFR. WIND WAS 230/09G15.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
