## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) AIRCRAFT DEPARTED SUGARLAND MUNICIPAL AIRPORT (SGR) AND CONDUCTED AERIAL APPLICATION OPERATIONS. UPON RETURN TO SUGARLAND THE PILOT PLACED THE GEAR SELECTOR IN THE DOWN POSITION BUT DID NOT GET A DOWN INDICATION. THE PILOT GOT CONFIRMATION THAT THE GEAR APPEARED TO BE DOWN FROM ANOTHER PILOT. THE PILOT THEN FLEW TO WILLIAM P. HOBBY AIRPORT (KHOU) FOR LANDING. THE AIRCRAFT OVERFLEW THE RUNWAY AND THE AIR TRAFFIC CONTROLLER CONFIRMED THAT THE GEAR APPEARED TO BE DOWN. ON LANDING THE GEAR COLLAPSED ALMOST IMMEDIATELY. THE AIRCRAFT SLID ON ITS BELLY APPROXIMATELY 1150 FEET.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
