## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PILOT WAS CLEARED TO LAND ON RUNWAY 14 AT SGF. A BUSINESS JET HAD JUST DEPARTED RUNWAY 14 PRIOR TO THE LANDING OF THE CESSNA 172. THE PILOT STATED THAT HE GOT IN SOME TURBULENCE AROUND THE TOUCHDOWN ZONE AND HAD TROUBLE GETTING THE AIRCRAFT TO FLARE AND SETTLE ONTO THE RUNWAY. ABOUT THE TIME THE AIRCRAFT TOUCHED DOWN, IT VEERED OFF OF THE LEFT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY FOR SEVERAL HUNDRED FEET, AND THE PILOT REGAINED CONTROL AND STEERED THE AIRCRAFT BACK ONTO THE RUNWAY WITHOUT INCIDENT. PILOT WAS COUNSELED ABOUT WAKE TURBULENCE AND JET BLAST. INCIDENT ^PRIVACY DATA ^ IS CLOSED WITH THIS REPORT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
