## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) AFTER FURTHER INVESTIGATION AT WES AIR IN OPF, THIS OFFICE FOUND THAT THE ENGINE EXHAUSTED ALL OF THE OIL THROUGH THE HOSE THAT IS BETWEEN THE TURBOCHARGER AND THE BACK OF THE ENGINE. HOSE IS AN AERO QUIP/ASA P/N AE663039HO186, LW 848/83/186, PT-4-89/TELFLON, TSO-C53A, PSI 1500/00624 TYPE D SIZE 8. SMALL SHAVINGS WERE FOUND IN THE OIL FILTERS AND NO METAL WAS FOUND IN THE PROP GOVERNOR. HOSE WAS DISTORTED BY HEAT AND MECHANICAL CONTACT WHERE THE HOLE WAS LOCATED. CERTIFIED ENGINES OF OPA LOCKA WILL TEAR DOWN THE ENGINE AND SERVICE IT FOR POSSIBLE RETURN TO SERVICE CONDITION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
