## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE PILOT DEPARTED OAKLAND, CALIFORNIA, ENROUTE TO RUTH, CALIFORNIA. IN THE TRAFFIC TO RUNWAY 13 AT RUTH, THE PILOT DETERMINED THAT THE WIND WAS LIGHT AND VARIABLE. DURING THE TOUCHDOWN, THE AIRCRAFT EXPERIENCED A STRONG GUST OF TAIL WIND WHICH LIFTGED THE TAIL OF THE AIRCRAFT CAUSING THE PROPELLER TO STRIKE THE GROUND AND THE NOSE WHEEL TO COLLAPSE. AT THAT TIME, THE PILOT LOST CONTROL AND THE AIRCRAFT SKIDDED AND CAME TO A STOP INVERTED ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
