ON THE SECOND LANDING HE SAID THAT HE JUST FORGOT THE GEAR AND WHEN HE PULLED THE THROTTLE BACK AND SARTED TO FLARE THE HORN WENT OFF. AT THIS POINT THE PILOT REALIZED THE GEAR WAS NOT DOWN AND HE QUICKLY REACHED OVER AND PUT THE GEAR HANDLE IN THE DOWN POSITION BUT IT WAS TOO LATE BECAUSE THE PROP HAD STARTED TO STRIKE THE RUNWAY AND THE AIRCRAFT HAD SETTLED DOWN ON TO THE RUNWAY. From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
