## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON SEPTEMBER 12, 2002 AT 15:44 CDT A LEAR 31, N5VG, OWNED AND OPERATED BY WAL-MART STORES INC. #5 HAMMERSCHMIDT DR. ROGERS, ARKANSAS, 72756, EXPERIENCED NOSE WHEEL STEERING PROBLEMS WHEN IT WAS ENGAGED DURING THE LANDING PHASE AT ROGERS MUNICIPAL-CARTER FIELD (ROG) ROGERS, ARKANSAS. THEY WERE SUCCESSFUL IN BRINGING THE AIRCRAFT TO A STOP WITH ONLY MINOR DAMAGE TO TIRES AND NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED TO ANY CREW OR PASSENGERS, IT WAS NECESSARY TO TOW THE AIRCRAFT FROM THE RUNWAY. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED AND AN IFR FLIGHT PLAN HAD BEEN FILED FROM PNE TO ROG FOR THE CFR 14 PART 91 CORPORATE FLIGHT. BOTH PILOTS ARE CERTIFICATED AS ATP AND HAVE OVER 4000 HOURS-COMBINED IN MAKE AND MODEL OF AIRCRAFT. THE FLIGHT ORIGINATED AT NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA, (PNE) PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA AT 13:55 CDT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
