## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) N340FS PERFORMED A VISUAL APPROACH TO RUNWAY 04 AFTER A IFR FLIGHT FROM PRINCETON, NJ (39N). APPROXIMATELY 2 SECONDS AFTER TOUCHDOWN, THE PILOT INFORMED THE TOWER THAT HE THOUGHT HE HAD BLOWN A TIRE. THE RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED AT THAT TIME. APPROXIMATELY 2000 FEET DOWN THE RUNWAY, THE AIRPLANE EXITED TO THE RIGHT INTO THE GRASS AND STRUCK A RUNWAY LIGHT. IT CAME TO REST APPROXIMATELY 40 FT FROM THE EDGE OF THE RUNWAY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
