## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE PILOT OF A CESSNA 120 (N1947V) WAS LANDING ON RUNWAY 12 AT SPANISH FORK, UTAH ON AUGUST 29, 2002 WHEN HE LOST CONTROL OF THE AIRCRAFT WHICH WENT OFF THE LEFT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY. AS THE PILOT APPLIED THE BRAKES TO STOP THE AIRCRAFT IT WENT OVER ON IT'S NOSE CAUSING A PROP STRIKE AND MINOR DAMAGE TO THE LOWER ENGINE COWL. THERE WERE NO INJURIES TO THE PILOT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
