## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) MR. DEWITT LANDED AT THE FT. COLLINS AIRPORT AND WHILE TURNING AROUND ON THE NARROW RUNWAY DEPARTED SUCH AND COLLECTED SOME GRASS IN HIS LANDING GEAR. THERE WAS NO DAMAGE TO HIS AIRCRAFT AND DUE TO FLYING IN AN OPEN COCKPIT WAS HEARING IMPAIRED. WHEN ASKED BY THE RAMP PEOPLE AT THE AIRPORT IF HE WAS OK HE APPEARED DISORIENTED BUT IN REALITY COULDN'T HEAR THE QUESTIONS SO COULDN'T RESPOND. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
