## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON 10/22/02 DANIEL S. ATKINS AT NIGHT, ON APPROACH TO RUNWAY 04, AT THE MINERAL POINT AIRPORT (MRJ) STRUCK POWERLINES APPROXIMATELY 1000 FEET FROM THE END OF THE RUNWAY. THE POWER LINES DID NOT HAVE ANY HAZARD LIGHTS ON THEM. THE WEATHER WAS VFR AND THERE WAS SNOW/RAIN SHOWERS IN THE AREA. THE AIRCRAFT N4828D LANDED AND ONLY MINOR DAMAGE OCCURRED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
