## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON OCTOBER 25, 2002, AT APPROXIMATELY 1820 CDT, BEECHCRAFT BONANZA, BE35-B33, N9568Y, A GENERAL AVIATION AIRPLANE, LANDED GEAR-UP AT HOPE, ARKANSAS. THE AIRPLANE IS REGISTERED TO MICHAEL KAUBLE AND OPERATED BY MALCOLM DAVID MACHAUER OF TEXARKANA, TEXAS. THE PRIVATE PILOT, SOLE OCCUPANT, WAS NOT INJURED. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED, AND A FLIGHT PLAN WAS NOT FILED FOR THE 14 CODE OF FEDERAL REGULATIONS PART 91 FLIGHT. THE LOCAL FLIGHT ORIGINATED TO PRACTICE TOUCH AND GO LANDINGS. PRELIMINARY INFORMATION INDICATES THAT THE PILOT WAS ON A FINAL LEG OF THE TENTH LANDING WHEN HE DECIDED TO PRACTICE A NO FLAP LANDING. HE STATED IN A TELEPHONE INTERVIEW THAT HE ALLOWED HIMSELF TO "GET OUT OF HIS ROUTINE" THEREBY LANDING WITHOUT EXTENDING THE LANDING GEAR. HE ADDED THAT THE AIRCRAFT EXPERIENCED NO MECHANICAL ANOMALIES. THE AIRPLANE STRUCK THE GROUND CAUSING DAMAGE TO THE UNDERSIDE OF THE FUSELAGE AND DAMAGE TO THE PROPELLER TIPS AND CAME TO REST IN AN UP-RIGHT POSITION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
