## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE STUDENT PILOT HAD JUST BEEN ENDORSED FOR SOLO FLIGHT BY HIS FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR AND HAD MADE TWO NORMAL LANDINGS. THIS INCIDENT OCCURRED DURING THE THIRD LANDING AT ALLIANCE AIRPORT IN FORT WORTH, TEXAS. THE STUDENT PILOT EXPERIENCED A GUST OF WIND THAT DISRUPTED HIS GROUND ROLL CAUSING HIM TO LOSE DIRECTIONAL CONTROL ON RUNWAY 34R. THE AIRCRAFT STRUCK A RUNWAY EDGE LIGHT ON THE RIGHT SIDE WITH THE RIGHT MAIN GEAR. THE AIRCRAFT DID NOT SUSTAIN DAMAGE. THE STUDENT PILOT TAXIED TO THE AWAITING FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR ON THE RAMP. THIS INCIDENT IS CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
