(-23) N102TP C-340 WAS PRACTICING T&GO'S @EUG WHEN HE LANDED AND BLEW BOTH MAIN TIRES, A/C BLK RNWY FROM 1840ZTO 1912Z. A/C WAS NOT DAMAGED EXCEPT FOR THE TIRES. A/C TOWED TO FBO FOR INSP AND REPAIR. PIC STATED VIA PH CALL THAT A/C HAD RECENTLY HAD NEW BRAKE PADS INSTALLED AND HE DID NOT FEEL THEM GRAB, PH CONV. WITH FBO AND MX RECORDS INDICATE BRAKES WERE NEW, AND NO DAMAGE TO A/C.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
