## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON NOVEMBER 16, 2002, AT 0740 LOCAL TIME, AIRCRAFT S/N UE-159 WHILE ENROUTE FROM FMN TO PHX FLIGHT 6801, THE MAIN LANDING GEAR UNSAFE ANNUNCIATOR ILLUMINATED DURING NORMAL EXTENSION. THE CREW RELAMPED THE GEAR ANNUNCIATOR, BUT IT STILL WOULD NOT ILLUMINATE. THEY THEN PERFORMED TOWER FLY BY, AND THE TOWER CONFIRMED THE MAINS WERE DOWN. THE CREW PERFORMED EMERGENCY GEAR EXTENSION, UNTIL THEY GOT DOWN AND LOCK INDICATION ON ALL ANNUNCIATORS. AIRCRAFT LANDED WITH EMERGENCY VEHICLES DISPATCHED AND NO FURTHER INCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
