## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON NOVEMBER 17, 2002, AT APPROXIMATELY 1649 CDT, MR. JOHN J. OLEARY ACTING AS THE PILOT-IN-COMMAND LANDED AT CORPUS CHRISTI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT UNDER VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS. MR. OLEARY WAS GIVING FLIGHT INSTRUCTION TO MR. GEORGE H. FISHER. THEIR PLANS WERE TO EXECUTE A TOUCH-N-GO. AFTER TOUCHING DOWN AND PRIOR TO APPLYING POWER FOR THE TAKEOFF, THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED. THE AIRCRAFT POWER WAS SECURED AND RENDERED SAFE AND THE TWO OCCUPANTS EXITED THE AIRCRAFT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
