## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) WHEN LANDING AT THUN FIELD, THE PILOT EXPERIENCED A LOSS OF DIRECTIONAL CONTROL AND THE AIRCRAFT EXITED THE RUNWAY TO THE RIGHT. PILOT REGAINED CONTROL AND BEGAN TO PARALLEL THE RUNWAY. WITH LIMITED FIELD OF VISION OVER THE NOSE, THE LEFT MAIN GEAR HIT A RUNWAY LIGHT. THE RUNWAY LIGHT BROKE OFF, BUT THE RUNWAY LIGHT ANCHOR BOLT WAS IMMOVEABLE AND TORE OFF THE LEFT MAIN GEAR. THE LEFT WING THEN CAME TO REST ON THE GROUND.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
