## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON DECEMBER 5, 2002 AT ABOUT 1630 EST, A CESSNA 150, N60656, EXPERIENCED A COLLAPSE OF THE NOSE LANDING GEAR AFTER A HARD LANDING AT LABELLE AIRPORT LABELLE FL, WHILE ON A PERSONAL FLIGHT. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED AT THE TIME AND NO FLIGHT PLAN WAS FILED. THERE WERE NO INJURIES TO THE PRIVATE RATED PILOT. THE FLIGHT ORIGINATED AT LABELLE AIRPORT SHORTLY BEFORE THIS OCCURRENCE. THE PILOT STATED THAT ON LANDING HE BOUNCED AND LANDED HARD ON THE NOSE GEAR CAUSING IT'S COLLAPSE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
