## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) N6367X, A CE-402 OPERATED BY TRANSPORTATIONS SYSTEMS, INC., TAXIED SOUTH ON TAXIWAY "K" AT SALT LAKE CITY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT AFTER LANDING ON RUNWAY 17, AND EXITING ON KILO 5 TAXIWAY, AT APPROXIMATELY 1915 MST, ON FRIDAY 12/13/2002. THE CE-402'S LEFT LANDING LIGHT STRUCK THE TOP OF THE LEFT WING OF N8501Q, AN "ALARUS" (CH2-T) CAUSING MINOR DAMAGE. THE ALARUS HAD STOPPED ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE TAXIWAY TO ALLOW THE CE-402 TO PASS. BOTH PERSONS ON BOARD THE ALARUS STATED THAT THE 402 CONTINUED ON THE TAXIWAY CENTERLINE AND DID NOT MOVE TO THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE TAXIWAY. THE FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR ABOARD THE ALARUS STATED THAT SHE TURNED OFF THE AIRCRAFT LANDING LIGHT AND STROBE LIGHTS (THE AIRCRAFT ANTI-COLLISION SYSTEM), LEAVING THE POSITION LIGHTS ON SO AS NOT TO BLIND THE OTHER PILOT. THE CE-402 PILOT STATED THAT HE THOUGHT THE OTHER AIRCRAFT HAD TURNED OFF THE TAXIWAY TO WAIT FOR HIM TO PASS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
