## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ FLIGHT 146, ON DESCENT INTO BMI, #2 GENERATOR TRIPPED OFFLINE WITH AN AC TIE LOCKOUT. VOLTS AND FREQ. APPEARED NORMAL. ALL RELEVANT AIR TRAN PROCEDURES WERE ACCOMPLISHED. #2 GENERATOR WOULD NOT RESET AND APU GENERATOR WOULD NOT POWER THE RIGHT AIRCRAFT BUSSES UNTIL AIRCRAFT WAS ESTABLISHED ON FINAL APPROACH. PILOT DECLARED EMERGENCY DUE TO SINGLE GENERATOR OPERATION. AN UNEVENTFUL LANDING WAS MADE AT BMI. MAINTENANCE RESET THE GENERATOR CONTROL PANEL AND PERFORMED OPERATIONAL CHECK TO CONFIRM THAT THE APU GENERATOR PICKED UP AIRCRAFT BUSSES AS REQUIRED. RIGHT GENERATOR WAS PLACED ON MEL AND THE AIRCRAFT RELEASE PER 24-01-1. THIS INCIDENT IS CLOSED WITH THIS REPORT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
