## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) AIRCRAFT DEPARTED PINE SHADOWS AIR PARK (94FL) AT 09:45 LOCAL TIME FOR KEY WEST, FL VFR WITH NO FLIGHT PLAN INITIATED. WHEN APPROXIMATELY TWENTY-FIVE MILES WEST OF KEY WEST AT 6,500 FEET, THEY EXPERIENCED A COMPLETE ELECTRICAL FAILURE RESULTING IN NO COMMUNICATIONS OR HYDRAULIC POWER. PIC ELECTED TO RETURN TO PGD TO ATTEMPT A LANDING ON THE GRASS PARALLEL TO R/W 09 AS HE HAD NO LANDING GEAR INDICATION. HE LANDED ON THE R/H SIDE OF RUNWAY 09 IN THE GRASS, BUT SWUNG TO THE LEFT AS HE ONLY HAD THE R/H MLG DOWN AND LOCKED - BOTH THE NOSE LG AND L/H MLG COLLAPSED. THE AIRCRAFT SLID ACROSS R/W 09 RESULTING IN MINOR SCRAPING DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND WITH NO INJURIES TO THE PIC OR HIS PASSENGER.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
