## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) JUST AFTER BECOMING AIRBORNE THE PILOT DID NOT FEEL THE AIRCRAFT WAS PRODUCING NORMAL POWER AND WAS NOT CLIMBING AS EXPECTED. HE ELECTED TO LAND BACK ON THE RUNWAY BUT DECIDED THAT IF HE LANDED ON THE RUNWAY HE WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO STOP PRIOR TO THE END OF THE RUNWAY SO HE CLIMBED, MADE A TURN AND LANDED SAFELY ON A TAXIWAY AT THE END OF THE RUNWAY. THERE WAS NO DAMAGE TO THE AIRPLANE. THE PILOT STATED HE HAD DEICED THE AIRCRAFT PRIOR TO TAKEOFF AND THOUGHT THAT THE FAILURE TO FLY WAS DUE TO EITHER INDUCTION ICING OR POSSIBLY NOT GETTING ALL OF THE ICE OFF THE WINGS.^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ INCIDENT ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ IS CONSIDERED CLOSED WITH THIS REPORT. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
