## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PILOT INDICATED THAT DURING NORMAL LANDING TOUCH DOWN AT X47 (FLAGLER COUNTY AIRPORT) AIRCRAFT CONTINUED ROLL OUT FOR 500 FEET WHEN THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED. AIRCRAFT CONTINUED TO SKID ON THE NOSE FOR AN ADDITIONAL 200 FEET. MAIN GEAR REMAINED LOCKED DURING THE ENTIRE EPISODE. PILOT INDICATED THAT THE GEAR DOWN LIGHTS WERE ILLUMINATED AND WERE CHECKED TWO ADDITIONAL TIMES PRIOR TO TOUCH DOWN. AIRCRAFT WAS SHUT DOWN AND EVACUATED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED. MINOR DAMAGE WAS SUSTAINED TO AIRCRAFT NOSE, NOSE GEAR DOORS, AND BOTH PROPELLERS. INSPECTION OF THE AIRCRAFT REVEALED THAT THE NOSE GEAR DOWNLOCK LINK WAS VERY STIFF AND REQUIRED EXCESSIVE FORCE TO EXERCISE. THE DOWNLOCK SWITCH WAS ALSO OUT OF RIG WHICH ALLOWED THE HYD PUMP TO SHUT DOWN BEFORE THE NOSE GEAR WAS IN THE LOCKED POSITION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
