## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) A COURIER FOR THE FEDERAL RESERVE BANK LOADED CHECKS INTO THE SUBJECT AIRLPLANE AND THEN MOVED THE VAN TO ANOTHER AIRPLANE FOR LOADING CHECKS ONTO THAT AIRPLANE. THE AIRPLANE WAS LOCATED DIAGONALLY TO THE RIGHT AND IN FRONT OF THE SUBJECT AIRPLANE. THE PILOT OF THE FIRST AIRPLANE DID A GPU START WITH A SAFETY LINEMAN IN FRONT OF THE AIRPLANE. THE LINEMAN RECEIVED THE DISCONNECT SIGNAL FROM THE PILOT, HAD THE OTHER LINEMEN REMOVE THE GPU PLUG AND WALKED TO THE LEFT SIDE OF THE AIRPLANE FOR ENTRY INTO THE LINE SHACK. THE PILOT CONDUCTED THE NTS/BETA TEST. WHILE LOADING THE SECOND AIRPLANE, THE COURIER FOUND 2 BUNDLES OF CHECKS WHICH WERE SUPPOSED TO BE LOADED ONTO THE FIRST AIRPLANE. THE COURIER THEN WALKED IN FRONT OF THE FIRST AIRPLANE AND INTO THE OUTBOARD SIDE OF THE LEFT PROPELLER AND WAS FATALLY INJURED. THE ACCIDENT OCCURRED DURING NIGHTTIME VMC CONDITIONS AND THE RAMP AREA WAS MARGINALLY/POORLY LIGHTED. THE HANGAR DOOR WAS OPEN FOR MORE LIGHTING OF THE RAMP. NO DOCUMENTED TRAINING WAS PRESENTED TO THE FAA OR NTSB.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
