## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON JANUARY 31, 2003 A BRICKNER/RV-4 SERIAL NUMBER 2576, N493DB, OWNED AND OPERATED BY DAVID ROGER BRICKNER, PRIVATE PILOT CERTIFICATE NUMBER 001837151 STRUCK A ROCK WITH THE RIGHT TIRE DURING TAXI FOR FLIGHT AT THE GLENDALE AIRPORT, GLENDALE AZ. THE TIRE ON THE RIGHT SIDE WAS BLOWN, WHICH CAUSED THE WHEEL TO QUIT ROTATING. THE AIRCRAFT THEN NOSED OVER STRIKING THE PROPELLER. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE TO THE PROPELLER, MAIN LANDING GEAR, AND THE TAIL LANDING GEAR. THE PILOT WAS NOT INJURED. WEATHER WAS NOT A FACTOR. THIS INCIDENT IS CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
