## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON FEB 02 2003 WHILE ENROUTE ROC TO MEM AT FL 350, ALL FOUR LEFT WHEEL TEMPS WENT TO 400 DEGREES. RIGHT WHEELS REMAINED AT 5 DEGREES. THE CREW SUSPECTED A DUCT FAILURE. AN EMERGENCY WAS DECLARED AND THE FLIGHT DIVERTED TO IND. THE BRAKE TEMPERATURE SENSOR SYSTEM WAS FOUND TO BE MALFUNCTIONING. THE AIR CARRIER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT A MECHANICAL INTERRUPTION REPORT FOR THIS INCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
