## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON FEBRUARY 16, 2003 AT 0039 LOCAL A CONTINENTAL AIRLINES B-767-224, N76151, FLT 60 RETURNED TO LAND ON RUNWAY 4R AT NEWARK LIBERTY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT AFTER REPORTING AN ENGINE VIBRATION SHORTLY AFTER DEPARTURE. AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE INSPECTED THE AIRCRAFT AND FOUND THE FIRST STAGE COMPRESSOR BLADES DAMAGED FROM ICE INGESTION ON BOTH ENGINES. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE FIRST STAGE FAN BLADES ON BOTH ENGINES PER MM72-31-02 AND RETURNED THE AIRCRAFT TO SERVICE. THIS INCIDENT IS CONSIDERED CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
