## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ SHAMROCK 133 LANDED BOS RUNWAY 22L AND WAS CLEARED TO TAXI TO THE INTERNATIONAL TERMINAL GATE E-5 VIA TAXIWAY ZULU. ATIS REPORTED HIGH WINDROWS ON NUMEROUS TAXIWAYS ON THE AIRPORT. THE BOS ATIS WAS REPORTING TAXIWAY ZULU CLOSED. THE GROUND CONTROLLER INSTRUCTED SHAMROCK 133 TO UTILIZE EITHER ZULU OR LIMA AND ADVISED TO USE CAUTION DUE TO WINDROWS ALONG THE OUTER EDGES OF THE TAXIWAY. SHAMROCK 133 ELECTED TO UTILIZE TAXIWAY ZULU WHICH HE FELT HAD ENOUGH CLEARANCE FROM THE SNOWBANKS TO SAFELY ACCESS THE RAMP. THE CAPTAIN WAS UNAWARE THE NUMBER ONE ENGINE HAD IMPACTED THE WINDROW UNTIL ADVISED BY THE MAINTENANCE MANAGER UPON ARRIVAL AT THE GATE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
