## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PILOT STATED THAT THIS WAS THE FIRST FLIGHT AFTER THE AIRCRAFT BEING CERTIFICATED. DURING HIS LANDING ON RWY 35 AT YUMA, AZ. HE STATED THAT THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED THUS ALLOWING THE PROP TO STRIKE THE GROUND. HE ALSO STATED THAT HE FOUND THE NOSE GEAR DOWN LOCK BOLT HAD SHEARED. NO INJURIES WERE SUSTAINED AND ONLY MINOR DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT. PILOTS BFR WAS OUT OF DATE, HOWEVER HE HAD CONDUCTED WHAT HE THOUGHT WAS A BFR PRIOR TO THIS FLIGHT. HE IS CURRENTLY UP TO DATE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
