## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB ATL03FA052](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/ATL03FA052), Mar 2, 2003: Beech BE-36A (N343BA), Mount Airy, NC, destroyed, 5 fatal. Probable cause: The pilots failure to maintain control of the aircraft due to spatial disorientation. A factor was low clouds.

## Other reports on N343BA (1)

Matched to the same aircraft by N-number and date.

- [Accident 19831113057509A](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19831113057509A), Nov 13, 1983: Beech A36 (N343BA), Satanta, KS, Substantial damage. Aircraft struck curb off edge of runway threshold on landing. Impact on left main gear bent rear wing spar.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
