## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PILOT LANDED AT BEDFORD (BED) AND ASKED FOR GROUND POWER WHILE DISCHARGING A PASSENGER. REFUELED, STARTED ENGINES AND GAVE GROUND POWER DISCONNECT SIGNAL TO THE SIGNATURE GROUND PERSON. AIRCRAFT WAS THEN GIVEN TAXI SIGNAL AND WHILE TAXING WAS TOLD BY TOWER TO CHECK THE EPU (EXTERNAL POWER UNIT) AREA FOR DAMAGE. DAMAGE WAS FOUND AND AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SIGNATURE RAMP. AIRCRAFT FLEW TO FLL ON MARCH 5, 2003 AFTER REPAIRS WERE MADE. BOMBARDIER MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL WERE INVOLVED IN CLEARING THE AIRCRAFT TO FLY AS WELL AS TROY MILTON, DIRECTOR OF MAINTENANCE FOR DIAMOND AVIATION OF DELAND, FLORIDA.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
