## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON MARCH 13, 2003 AT APPROXIMATELY 1746 LOCAL TIME, MR. RANDY DEE HASSLER WAS PIC OF N321CG, A PIPER AEROSTAR 601P, DURING A HIGH SPEED TAXI TEST ON RUNWAY 13 AT HUTCHINSON MUNICIPAL AIRPORT. MR. HASSLER HAS EXPLAINED THAT DURING THIS TEST THE BRAKES FAILED TO SLOW THE AIRCRAFT PRIOR TO LEAVING THE END OF THE RUNWAY. THE AIRCRAFT HAD JUST BEEN RETURNED TO SERVICE FOLLOWING ANNUAL INSPECTION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
