(-23) MS BOMBERGER LANDED AT CTJ AFTER A SECOND NO FLAP APPROACH AND RAN OFF THE END OF THE RUNWAY CAUSING THE NOSE GEAR TO BREAK OFF AND BOTH PROPS HIT THE GROUND DAMAGING BOTH ENGINES. SHE DEPARTED HER LAST AIRPORT TO COME TO CTJ KNOWING THAT THE FLAPS WERE INOP.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB ATL03LA081](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/ATL03LA081), Mar 17, 2003: Beech A100 (N227BC), Carrollton, GA, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot misjudged the approach and touchdown airspeeds that resulted in the overrun of the runway during a landing. Factors were the wet runway and hydroplaning conditions.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
