## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE PILOT WAS PERFORMING TOUCH-AND-GO LANDINGS AT PORTER STOLPORT, A PRIVATE STRIP, NEAR JAY, FLORIDA. ON THE THIRD TOUCH-AND-GO LANDING WITH 2 NOTCHES OF FLAPS SELECTED THE AIRPLANE BOUNCED BACK IN THE AIR. THE PILOT MAINTAINED A TAIL DOWN ATTITUDE AND THE AIRPLANE SETTLED ONTO THE GROUND. THE PILOT THOUGHT HE COULD STILL LAND AND COMMITTED TO THE LANDING ROLL, BUT LOST DIRECTIONAL CONTROL TOWARDS THE LEFT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY. HE APPLIED DIFFERENTIAL BRAKING AND THE AIRPLANE NOSED OVER COMING TO REST ABOUT THE MIDDLE OF THE RUNWAY NEAR THE DEPARTURE END.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
