## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON MARCH 28, 2003, AT APPROXIMATELY 11:25 CST LOCAL TIME, THE PILOT OF N21612, A MOONEY M20S AIRCRAFT, MADE A GEAR UP LANDING ON RUNWAY 34L AT MIDLAND INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (MAF), MIDLAND, TEXAS, WHEN THE PILOT FAILED TO VERIFY THE GEAR TO BE IN THE DOWN POSITION. THE AIRCRAFT RECEIVED MINOR DAMAGE. NO INJURIES RECEIVED BY THE PILOT AND PASSENGER. NO FLIGHT PLAN WAS FILED BY THE VFR LOCAL FLIGHT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
