## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION WAS OBTAINED FROM THE INFLIGHT INCIDENT REPORT SUBMITTED BY FRONTIER AIRLINE FLIGHT ATTENDANT JENNIFER DAVIDSON: A MALE PASSENGER ACCOMPANIED BY HIS DAUGHTER REQUESTED HOT TEA. THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT PROVIDED PASSENGER A PLASTIC CUP CONTAINING HOT WATER 2/3 TO 3/4 FULL. SHE THEN SERVED HIM AN ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE AND BEGAN ASSISTING OTHER PASSENGERS WHEN SHE HEARD THE LITTLE GIRL SCREAM. THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT RETURNED TO THE ROW THE CHILD WAS SITTING AND NOTED THE HOT TEA HAD SPILLED. SHE NOTED ALL THE DRINKS WERE ON THE FATHER'S TRAY. ICE WAS PROVIDED AND MEDICAL ASSISTANCE FROM SEVERAL REGISTERED NURSES ALSO ASSISTED IN TREATING THE LITTLE GIRL BURNS. THE PILOT IN COMMAND WAS NOTIFIED AND MEDLINK WAS CONTACTED FOR FURTHER GUIDANCE. THE AIRCRAFT WAS DIVERTED TO GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO (GJT) TO HAVE THE CHILD TRANSPORTED TO A MEDICAL FACILITY FOR TREATMENT. NOTE: NTSB RECLASSIFIED THIS AS AN INCIDENT. (-23 AMENDMENT) AMENDED REPORT: TOTAL AIRFRAME HOURS SHOULD BE 5777 NOT 57770.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
