## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) WHILE LANDING ON RUNWAY 9 LEFT AT LAKELAND LINDER REGIONAL AIRPORT, LAKELAND, FLORIDA, PILOT LOST CONTROL AND ALLOWED AIRCRAFT TO DEPART THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY. THE AIRCRAFT'S MAIN LANDING GEAR WHEELS DUG INTO THE SAND AND THE AIRCRAFT FLIPPED OVER AND CAME TO REST IN AN INVERTED POSITION. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED DAMAGE TO THE PROPELLER, LEFT WING, AND VERTICAL STABILIZER. THE PILOT AND PASSENGER WERE NOT INJURED.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB MIA03CA093](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/MIA03CA093), Apr 4, 2003: Boeing A75N1 (N2535R), Lakeland, FL, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's failure to maintain control during the landing rollout which resulted in the airplane exiting the runway, impacting a runway light, and nosing over.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
