## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON LANDING ROLLOUT AT ABOUT 30 MPH, A GUST OF WIND LIFTED THE RIGHT WING, CAUSING THE LEFT BOTTOM WING TO HIT THE RUNWAY, RESULTING IN A GROUND LOOP.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB NYC03LA077](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/NYC03LA077), Apr 4, 2003: Waco YOC (N15244), Allentown, PA, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's failure to maintain directional control while landing which resulted in a ground loop. A factor in the accident was the crosswind.

## Other reports on N15244 (1)

Matched to the same aircraft by N-number and date.

- [Incident 19950521012119I](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19950521012119I), May 21, 1995: Waco YOC (N15244), Winchester, VA, Minor damage. Lost directional control landing. Veered off runway struck runway signs.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
