## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB SEA03LA057](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/SEA03LA057), Apr 7, 2003: Cessna 152 (N48733), Butte, MT, destroyed. Probable cause: The pilot's inadequate compensation for gusty variable wind conditions and his improper flare. Factors include gusty and variable winds .

## Other reports on N48733 (1)

Matched to the same aircraft by N-number and date.

- [Incident 19861003059819I](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19861003059819I), Oct 3, 1986: Cessna 152 (N48733), San Diego, CA. Total power loss after takeoff. Safe landing. Recent history of unexplained power loss.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System.
