## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) N4624F, A CESSNA P206 WAS TAXIING NORTHEAST ON "ALPHA" TAXIWAY. WINDS 314 DEGREES AT 14 KNOTS, GUSTS TO 20. A PARKED KING AIR, TAIL TOWARDS THE TAXIWAY, WAS IN THE PROCESS OF MAINTENANCE RUNUP (BOTH ENGINES). WITHIN 60 TO 70 FEET OF THE KING AIR TAIL, BUFFETING PROP WASH LIFTED THE P206 AND FLIPPED IT UPSIDE DOWN. AN EYE WITNESS WORKING IN THE HANGAR RAN TO THE RAMP TO SIGNAL THE KING AIR OPERATORS TO CUT THE POWER. SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE WAS NOTED TO THE P206; THE PILOT WAS NOT INJURED.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB NYC03LA089](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/NYC03LA089), Apr 24, 2003: Cessna P206 (N4624F), Newport, RI, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's inadvertent encounter with propeller blast.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
